While recently watching my two nieces I was entertained with the most delightful story.
Well…. It all started one day when Tiara age 6took the little dog GiGi into the part of the house he was not allowed to play. She had him on top of the dryer letting him walk around while grandma was in her room unaware. Grandma was in the process of filling the wash machine with water to do a load of laundry when all the drama began.
GiGi walked right over to the wash machine and fell in to the water. Tiara knowing that she is in deep trouble proceeds to find her little sister Macie. Macie being the 4 year old bold heroine that she was came to save the day.
“Don’t worry GiGi I will save you.” She says as she jumps into the washer with the little dog. GiGi being scared of the water and all of the commotion, jumped right over Macies head back onto the dryer.
Macie in all of her worldly wisdom realizes that now both she and GiGi are soaking wet. What is the most logically thing to do once you have been through the wash cycle? The dry cycle of course!
Macie takes GiGi and gets into the dryer. Tiara shuts the door and the cycle begins. After what felt like five minutes Tiara opens the dryer door to let a very dizzy Macie and GiGi out of the dryer.
Macie was red and felt like she was sunburned everywhere and GiGi looked like a cute stuffed animal. Macie was also dizzy and was walking in circles and ran right into the wall. She hit the wall so hard that she left a hole in the wall and her head got stuck. Tiara had to pull and pull to release her.
Thankfully, all was put back to right before grandma ever got back to the living room of the house.
When my sister returned to pick up my nieces, I told her I was shocked that she had never told me about the washing machine – dryer incident at grandma’s house. (These two totally had me believing this story.) She told me that it had never happened. The girls had made up the whole story. They were working this story together let me tell you. It came to life with such unity there was no disbelief in the room.
If you have ever read the books of “Eloise” or “Junie B Jones” you will have a deeper understanding of my two precious nieces.
Stay tuned for more “episodes” in the lives of Tiara and Macie!
Next how Macies saves Tiara from hurting herself sleep walking.... this one you do not want to miss!!!!!!
